Participants will enjoy a leisurely short hike on the Womanspace paths looking for natural wonders along the route that "speak" to us (only things on the floor of the forest as we do not want to hurt "growing" things!) Then we'll go back to the Art Building and create a 3-D or 2-D assemblage piece combining our finds with a buffet of assemblage found objects (these are provided but participants are welcome and encouraged to bring along things to use and/or share) and art supplies (paint, wood for a base, etc.). Join us and we'll see what we can create with the help of Mother Nature on a lovely Spring day!

Inspired from a writing and drawing technique called “Exquisite Corpse.” The technique was invented by Surrealists in 1925 and i
s based on an old parlor game in which players write in turn on a sheet of paper, fold it to conceal part of the writing, and then pass it to the next player for a further contribution. Later the game was adapted to drawing and collage, producing a result similar to children's books in which the pages were cut into thirds, the top third pages showing the head of a person or animal, the middle third the torso, and the bottom third the legs, with children having the ability to "mix and match" by turning pages. An exquisite corpse mosaic is produced in three sections. Each section is completed with mosaic, then covered and the next section is done by a different person not knowing what the other has done.
