Membership
in WOMANSPACE
is open to any person, regardless of sex, creed, disability, race or
national origin. As a member of
WOMANSPACE
you endorse the work
and support the philosophy of the Center.

Membership
is based on a 12 month period, beginning with the month in which dues
are paid. A regular one-year membership is $50; a one-year
"sustaining" membership is $75.

|
Two and three year
memberships are also available for $90 and $120 respectively for a
regular membership; and for $150 and $225 respectively for a sustaining
membership.

|
|
For
many of the Center's programs, you do not have to be a member, but there
are significant benefits for those who choose membership.

|
|
Members receive all mailings from the Center,
including the WEB, a
bi-monthly newsletter. The WEB provides more information about upcoming programs, including full course descriptions,
details on location, cost,
materials, and other timely news.

Members are entitled to a
10% discount on programs costing $20 or
more at the Center.

|
Members are entitled and encouraged to use the
WOMANSPACE
library.
|
|
|
A members immediate family (children, spouse) may register
at the
members rate.
|
|
|
Members of
WOMANSPACE
who wish to participate in programs and who
cannot pay the total cost are invited to contact the Center about
bartering (trading) services to gain credit toward programs.

|
WOMANSPACE
members are encouraged to join one or more of the
committees to help with the work of the Center and demonstrate their
leadership skills. Members may also volunteer in various other service
or leadership areas.

First and foremost, membership in
WOMANSPACE
demonstrates your
support of this organization. Even those who cannot participate
(for whatever reason) who maintain a membership are important to the
organization and its continuance.

WOMANSPACE
is a spiritually-based educational and development
Center. It is not a club, and therefore there are no meetings which
members are required to attend.
|
|
|
Members are urged to participate as
fully as possible, however, in the programs that suit their needs
according to their life-style and circumstances. Members are encouraged
to invite their friends to join
WOMANSPACE
as well.
|
|
|
To the extent possible,
each member is also requested to contribute
time and service to the Center and to donate to the Annual Fund Drive.
