childrenÕs author Tom Lichtenheld appears at Womanspace event

native returns for Bookfair on December 3rd
Womanspace
welcomes RockfordÕs own, New York Times best-selling childrenÕs book
author and illustrator, Tom Lichtenheld www.tomlichtenheld.com
with his latest release E-MERGENCY! on Saturday, December 3 at 3:00pm at
their Barnes & Noble Bookfair in the District at CherryVale Mall in
Rockford. Admission is FREE for this all-ages special event. Lichtenheld
will talk about his books, invite youth to read Duck! Rabbit!, and
create interactive drawings and stories with LIVE-on-the-spot audience input.
Three of LichtenheldÕs fifteen childrenÕs books are on the Monarch Awards 2012
Master List - Shark vs. Train; BridgetÕs Beret; and Duck!
Rabbit! - and many of them have been best-sellers on multiple lists. In
addition to LichtenheldÕs featured appearance, additional Womanspace events,
demonstrations, and a raffle for the new NOOK Tabletª are scheduled throughout
the Bookfair (see details and schedule below). When local and non-local
in-store shoppers verbally designate ÒWomanspaceÓ or provide the Bookfair Voucher
with ID#10519254 at check-out, a portion of their purchase will benefit the
local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. This Bookfair fundraiser is global
