Womanspace Support Groups

Support Group Survey

We have received feedback from our members that they would like to expand the offerings of small groups. We are conducting a survey of those who might be interested in joining a group. What kind of group would you like? What is a good meeting time? What ideas do you have? Click here to fill out an online survey.

Explorers Group

This group is designed for women who want to explore their spiritual journey internally and with others. It is open to those members of Womanspace who are looking for new energy and support as they examine their relationships, life passion, losses, talents and other processes that contribute significantly to their life journeys. Continuity of attendance and confidentiality are required. There is a charge for this year-round group that meets once a month. Potential members need to interview with the facilitators of this group, Dorothy Bock or Lenora Maier, Ph.D.

Seekers Group

Currently, this group is full. This group is designed for members of Womanspace who are committed to examining life issues related to spiritual development, growth and change. Members of this long-established women’s group come together to strengthen themselves and support one another on their paths. Meetings are usually at Womanspace, but are occasionally held in participants’ homes. Continuity of attendance and confidentiality are required. There is a charge for this year-round group that meets once a month. Potential members need to interview with the facilitator, Elaine Hirschenberger.

EarthMatters Group

Whether you are a novice or extremely active in the environmental movement, EarthMatters is a fun, positive way to share information and to accept the challenge of helping our environment. This free group meets monthly, usually on the second Wednesday at noon. Topics for discussion and action are determined by group members, who also share the responsibility for occasional presentations to the group.
