Saturday, July 8
9:30 am.-4:30 pm.
Instructor: Linda Conroy
Join herbalist and forager Linda Conroy for this fun and inspiring program. We will spend the morning identifying and harvesting plants that can be used for food and medicine. We will return to the class space, and learn to incorporate wild plants into our lunch.
Following lunch we will prepare nourishing herbal condiments as well as herbal medicines for participants to take home. We will prepare and learn to use nourishing herbal vinegars, simple syrups (oxymels), infused oils, herbal tincture/extracts, sprays, salves and much more! This will be a full day, and those new to plant work, as well as those with experience will be inspired in this dynamic, hands on experience.
Bring a basket, a pair of clippers or scissors, and a bag or small box to take your herbal preparations home. Dress for the weather, wear long pants and appropriate shoes, and don’t forget the bug spray!
All supplies provided (a $20 supply fee is included in the registration fee)
