Facilitator: Callie Hunter
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed by the fast-paced, nonstop demands of the world around you? Or, are you looking for a place to find peace and calm? Perhaps you have a trauma you are trying to resolve, or maybe you’re looking for a place to feel at home? Whatever the reason, all are welcome here.
Forest therapy offers an opportunity to come back to your body and remember who you are within and as nature. This guided walk will provide you with invitations to engage in the forest, and to offer a chance to slow down. Don’t expect an intense hike or a talk therapy session; this is an easy (less than 3/4 mile) walk, and in forest therapy, the forest is therapist — the guide simply opens the doors.
We will meet in the Pavilion to begin, then head out to the grounds for the full session.
