Ages 8+ (with adult supervision). Make a fun plant you will never have to water! In this class, we will cut glass in the shape of plants, then decorate with frit (tiny glass pieces), stringers (long thin pieces of glass), and pre-fired embellishments. Your plant will then be assembled for firing in the kiln. Your “plant” can be arranged in a clay pot (or a personal pot of your choosing), so when you pick it up in a week or so, you will have a cute “plant” that will last a lifetime, barring any enthusiastic toddlers or cats. Closed-toe shoes required; protective gear provided. All fused glass pieces will be ready for pickup in 10–12 days.
